Terms & Conditions
Last updated July 27, 2026
These terms cover what you can expect from EverAfter, and what we ask of you in return. We have tried to write them in plain English rather than legalese.
The short version
EverAfter is a wedding planning app. You keep ownership of everything you put into it. We charge a subscription for the paid tiers, you can cancel any time from Settings, and we do not sell your data or your guests' data to anyone.
The sections below are the full terms. If anything here conflicts with the short version, the full terms govern.
1. Accepting these terms
By creating an account or using EverAfter, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to create an account.
We may update these Terms as the product changes. When we make a material change we will update the date at the top of this page and notify account holders by email or in the app. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for everything that happens under your account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has gained access.
You may invite a partner, a wedding planner, family members, or members of your wedding party to collaborate. Anyone you invite can see the information you share with them, so invite carefully, an invitation link works for whoever holds it.
One account is for one person. Do not share a single login among multiple people who should each have their own.
3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation
Some features require a paid plan. Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis through our payment processor, Stripe. We never see or store your full card number.
Your subscription renews automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel.
You can cancel at any time from Settings → Your plan. When you cancel, your plan stays active for the remainder of the period you have already paid for, and it will not renew after that. You keep access to everything you have paid for until that date.
We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods, except where required by law or where we have made a billing error. If you think you have been charged incorrectly, email us and we will look into it.
We may change our prices. If we do, we will give existing subscribers at least 30 days' notice before the change applies to their renewal, so you can cancel first if you would rather not continue.
If a payment fails, we may retry it and may suspend access to paid features until the payment succeeds.
4. Your content
Everything you add, your guest list, budget, photos, documents, notes, registry, and everything else, belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of it.
You grant us only the permission we need to actually run the service: to store your content, back it up, and display it to you and to the people you have chosen to share it with.
You are responsible for having the right to upload what you upload, and for the information you enter about other people. When you add a guest's name, address, dietary needs, or contact details, you are responsible for handling that information appropriately.
You can export a full backup of your data at any time from Settings → Your data. Nothing you build here is locked in.
5. Public links you create
The app lets you generate links that anyone can open without logging in, RSVP links, your registry page, shared documents, and your day-of timeline.
Anything you publish behind one of those links is visible to whoever has the link, including anyone they forward it to. Link previews may also be cached by messaging apps and email providers outside our control.
This matters most for your registry shipping address: if you choose to publish a delivery address, treat it as public information. You can switch a registry back to private at any time.
6. Acceptable use
Please do not use EverAfter to:
Break the law, or infringe anyone's rights
Upload malware, or try to break, probe, or overload the service
Access another user's account or data without permission
Send spam, or harvest other people's contact details
Resell or white-label the service without a written agreement with us
We may suspend or close an account that violates these rules. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why and give you a chance to respond first.
7. AI features
Some features use AI to make suggestions, seating arrangements, floor plan analysis, and the planning assistant.
AI suggestions are exactly that: suggestions. They can be wrong. Please review anything important before acting on it, especially where money, contracts, or your guests' needs are involved.
Content you submit to an AI feature is sent to our AI provider to generate the response.
8. Third-party services
We rely on a small number of providers to run the service: Supabase (database, authentication, and file storage), Stripe (payments), Cloudflare (hosting and delivery), and an AI provider for the features described above.
Links to vendor sites, registry retailers, and other third parties are provided for convenience. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for them.
9. Availability and changes to the service
We work hard to keep EverAfter available and to keep your data safe, but we cannot promise the service will never be interrupted or error-free.
We may add, change, or remove features. If we plan to remove something you depend on, we will give reasonable notice where we can.
Please keep your own copy of anything critical. The backup export exists for exactly this reason.
10. Disclaimers and limits on liability
The service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent the law allows.
EverAfter is a planning tool. It is not a wedding planner, a lawyer, an accountant, or a financial advisor, and nothing in it is professional advice.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or lost data.
Some jurisdictions do not allow these limitations, in which case they apply to you only as far as the law allows.
11. Ending your account
You can stop using EverAfter at any time. To close your account and have your data deleted, email us at the address below. Export your backup first, deletion is permanent.
We may close an account that has violated these Terms, or that has been inactive with no subscription for an extended period, after notifying you.
